Overview

The Paderborn Schützenfest 2025 once again transformed the cathedral city into a green shooting town. Over four days, the Paderborner Bürger-Schützenverein 1831 e.V. (PBSV) gathered its over 3,000 active marksmen for parades, concerts in the square, the king's shot, and the Grand Parade. The king's proclamation, the parade on Sunday, and the festival marquee on the Schützenplatz were once again main attractions — the Paderborn Hochstift celebrated along.

In 2025, the PBSV continued its 194-year tradition. The four-day Schützenfest on the Paderborn Schützenplatz was once again one of the largest shooting festivals in Westphalia. The parade, concerts in the square, king's shot, and proclamation marked the weekend. Thousands of spectators lined the city center streets — the Paderborn shooting companies marched in full force. An unbroken tradition since 1831.
