Edition 2024 — Roman and Celtic Festival Pachten

The 4th Pachten Roman and Celtic Festival took place in September 2024 at the Roman Museum. Three days of antiquity festival with reenactor groups, gladiator fights, and a rich hands-on program.

The fourth edition in 2024 confirmed the success of the concept: several thousand visitors attended over the weekend, with local and visiting reenactor groups from Saarland, the Palatinate, and neighboring regions ensuring an authentic portrayal of antiquity. The family hands-on activities were particularly well-attended, and the concept of free admission and free activities once again proved to be crowd-pleasing.

Programme

Classic three-day format: Opening on Friday, main festival day on Saturday with gladiator fights and concerts, family time on Sunday.
