Overview
In 2025, the Ostsee Plein Air Festival once again gathered hundreds of painters on the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea coast in early May. Workshops in oil, watercolour, and pastel were offered concurrently in Kühlungsborn and Bad Doberan/Heiligendamm. The open painting days led participants to the beach, promenade, steep cliffs, and historic town centres. The final exhibition at Kunsthalle Kühlungsborn awarded three main prizes (€1,000, €500, and €300) as well as the audience award from the Ostsee-Zeitung newspaper. The winner was Rita Dahlem.
