In 2025, the Museumshof Lensahn once again hosted the Ostholsteiner Schafmarkt. Various sheep breeds, sheepdog demonstrations, live spinning, and sheep specialties attracted several thousand visitors on the May Sunday.
The 12th Ostholsteiner Schafmarkt in 2025, as always, focused on sheep breeding and wool processing. The Schleswig-Holstein Sheep Breeders' Association was present with various breeds, and the sheepdog demonstrations with Border Collies and professional sheep shearing were among the crowd-pullers.
The live spinning under the motto From Sheep to Designer Yarn and the sale of rare wool types at the wool market made the day a fixed date for wool processors from all over Schleswig-Holstein.
