Overview
As is traditional, the Ostervolksfest Mönchengladbach 2025 attracted thousands of visitors from the western Lower Rhine. Opened on Holy Saturday with the setup of rides and stalls at Alter Markt, the funfair ran through the Easter holidays, offering families and the young at heart a nine-day folk festival experience. Dodgems, Reibekuchen, and glittering lights characterized the spring evenings in the city center.
The city of Mönchengladbach opened its folk festival season in 2025 with the Ostervolksfest. As in previous years, Alter Markt attracted visitors from all over the region with rides and stalls. The concept of a traditional Holy Saturday opening and a nine-day run over Easter has proven successful and continues to shape the city's spring offerings.
