The Gatow Easter Bonfire 2025 followed the proven format: opening in the afternoon, Easter egg hunt for children, lighting of the bonfire by the fire brigade in the late afternoon, followed by a social gathering until the evening.

South Spandau in Spring Mood

The grounds at Buchwaldzeile, framed by forest and fields in the south of Spandau, offered, as always, an atmosphere that felt almost rural by Berlin standards. Several thousand visitors from Berlin and Brandenburg made the Easter bonfire the most visible spring tradition in Spandau.
