Overview
The 2025 Easter bonfire once again brought the Borgwedel village community together on Holy Saturday at the Dörps- und Sprüttenhuus. Many visitors enjoyed the evening with drinks, grilled sausages, and stick bread around the large fire, which the volunteer fire brigade had set up.
2025 Review
As every year, the Borgwedel volunteer fire brigade lit the Easter bonfire on Holy Saturday evening. Many Borgwedel residents came to the Dörps- und Sprüttenhuus to celebrate the beginning of spring. The atmosphere was convivial — bratwurst, beer, and mulled wine were sold, and people danced and chatted around the fire. The event has been a firm fixture in the Borgwedel calendar for decades.
