Overview

The 18th edition of the ORWOhaus Festival took place in July 2025 again on the outdoor grounds on Frank-Zappa-Straße in Marzahn. Two days of Rock, Punk, HipHop, and Rap from the house and with guests, around 1,500 visitors over the weekend. The mix of bands from the 105 in-house rehearsal rooms and Berlin scene acts once again confirmed the profile of one of Berlin's most unusual summer festivals.

The 2025 edition followed the proven concept: stage in front of the industrial building, bands from the ORWOhaus itself alongside guests fitting the Berlin music scene. The weekend proceeded largely without incident, the bar in the house was open, food trucks and drink stands served the approximately 1,500 weekend guests. Children under 14 were free, as always – a special feature that explicitly distinguishes the festival from commercial Berlin open-airs.

ORWOhaus e.V. once again used the event to increase the visibility of the house and its 200 bands from the 105 rehearsal rooms beyond the narrow Marzahn context – including an application call for non-house bands in the 2026 pre-program.
