Overview

The Orangefest 2025 took place, as is traditional, on the last Sunday in April at Oranienburg Palace. Dutch dance, baroque acrobatics, and market stalls characterized the day in an orange-colored atmosphere. Admission €6 (reduced €4, family €16). Palace museums free.

In 2025, the festival once again attracted thousands of visitors from Oranienburg, the Oberhavel district, and Berlin. The mix of Dutch folklore, baroque stylization, and family programming has been successful for years — a culturally and politically well-thought-out staging of the city's identity (Orange heritage) within the annual early summer program.

Oranienburg Palace, part of the Stiftung Preußische Schlösser und Gärten, positions itself as a family-friendly, vibrant venue alongside the major palaces of Potsdam. The Orangefest is part of this cultural policy strategy.
