The 12th OpenArts Artist Market Phoenix See 2025 once again confirmed the series' status as the most important open-air art market in southern Dortmund. Over 50 artists from Germany and neighboring countries presented their works on the Culture Island, and thousands of art enthusiasts and strollers visited the lake. OpenArts Artist Markets drew a positive conclusion and will continue the format in 2026 in its proven form.
In 2025, the market further established itself as a permanent summer tradition at Phoenix See. The combination of a flagship urban development project (Phoenix See) and curated art presentation remains unique in the Ruhr area.
