Overview
On September 14, 2025, 14 programme locations in Greifswald opened their doors under the national motto »WERT-voll — Monuments as Part of Our History and Identity«.
The programme included guided tours of the old library and the botanical garden, church tours with organ music and tower climbs in St. Nicholas Cathedral and St. Mary's Church, exhibitions at the Pomeranian State Museum and the Caspar David Friedrich Centre, craft demonstrations at the Eldena Mill (grain milling), and children's programmes with building competitions and stories. Most programme items ran between 10 AM and 6 PM and lasted 60 to 90 minutes.
