Open Day 2025

The 2025 Open Day at the University of Hohenheim took place on July 5, 2025, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to the campus in southern Stuttgart. The surf simulator, the plant-based food presentation, and the live bee observation in the university's garden saw the largest crowds.

Several student groups presented their projects on the main stage, while lectures on sustainability, bioeconomy, and regenerative agriculture took place in parallel. In the children's program, young researchers could build bridges, sow plants, and conduct simple food experiments. Admission was free, and travel by public transport was strongly recommended.
