In the summer of 2025, the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra once again performed on Laurentiusplatz as part of its special concerts. Wuppertal audiences, tourists, and strollers took advantage of the annual Open Air to experience classical and crossover programs under the open sky — free admission, with seat reservations as usual through the concert box office.
The Open Air on Laurentiusplatz is part of the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra's series of special concerts. In 2025, as every year, the orchestra opened its open-air stage and invited the city to a free summer evening. Programmatically, the series traditionally moves between classical music, film scores, and crossover formats — perfect for a diverse, curious audience.
