The 2025 edition of the Open-Air Concert by the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, like in previous years, took place in early September on the Rathausplatz Recklinghausen. High-caliber classical music under the open sky, free admission. The NPW has been a regular fixture of Recklinghausen's autumn event calendar for years.
In 2025, the open-air concert once again gathered several thousand visitors on the Rathausplatz. The concept of high-quality symphonic music under the open sky with free admission has established itself as one of the most successful municipal cultural contributions in the northern Ruhr area.
