Overview

In 2025, the Open Air am Lindenhain once again drew Fürth's subculture scene and visitors from the Middle Franconia region to the Catch Up grounds on Kapellenstraße. Punk, folk, ska, singer-songwriter, and a DIY ethos characterized two days of the free-and-outdoors festival.

The Open Air am Lindenhain 2025 continued the festival tradition at Fürth's Catch Up. As always, the grounds opened their gates on Friday and Saturday afternoons — with two stages, a diverse line-up, and no admission fee.

The MainStage provided the audience with loud acts from punk and alternative, while the Stringbreak Acoustic Stage offered more contemplative singer-songwriter programs. The dedicated volunteer team at Catch Up ensured smooth festival operations, and beverage sales at the bars, as always, covered the financing. This was another confirmation that the DIY model works, even in times of commercial festivals.
