Edition 2025 — Onolzheimer Hammeltanz
The 2025 edition of the Onolzheimer Hammeltanz took place on October 19 and 20 — Sunday and Monday with the traditional double parade through the village. The motto for 2025 was "Onza steht im Wald" (Onza stands in the forest). Since 2024, the custom has been celebrated without live animals in the parade.
Hammeltanz 2025 — "Onza steht im Wald"
The 549th edition of the Onolzheimer Hammeltanz took place on October 19 and 20, 2025. Under the motto for the year "Onza steht im Wald," the two traditional parades with around 30 groups marched through the decorated village streets on Sunday and Monday. As in 2024, the custom was carried out without live animals in the parade — the symbolic dance for the ram remained the emotional center of the festival.
The Friday evening Kirchweih in the Onolzheim inns opened the four-day festival, which concluded with the winner couple's entry into the festival hall.
