Overview

The Olbernhau Autumn Festival 2025 took place from October 3 to 5, filling the Rittergut grounds and the Stadtpark with rides, showmen, and a stage program from the Erzgebirge. Bockbier tapping, a lantern parade, and the children's program with «Kathrinchen Zimtstern» characterized the weekend.

The 2025 edition adhered to the proven concept: three days of festivities with Bockbier tapping on Friday, a family afternoon and lantern parade on Saturday, and a concluding stage program on Sunday. Brass choirs, the shawm band, and the Berglandmusikanten provided the traditional sound of the Erzgebirge.

Acrobats and dance groups complemented the regional contributions, while woodturners, carvers, and lacemakers showcased their craftsmanship. The town of Olbernhau deemed the festival a success and confirmed the concept for 2026.
