Overview

The 420th Nürtinger Maientag 2025 took place as always with a parade, bread distribution, Family Day, and the Oberensingen fairground. One of the oldest children's and local festivals in Southwest Germany since 1602. Schools, music clubs, and cultural associations shaped the parade. Thousands of residents and visitors from the Esslingen district and the greater Stuttgart area participated.

420th Nürtinger Maientag 2025

The 2025 edition confirmed the festival's 423-year tradition. As always, the parade, bread distribution ceremony, and Family Day characterized the event. Schools, music clubs, cultural associations, and historical themed floats marched through the city center — one of the most beautiful urban parades in Southern Germany.

The Oberensingen fairground offered its usual wide range of showman attractions — from the "Colossus" Ferris wheel to the "Flying Carpet" for the brave, plus carousels and children's rides for the youngest. In the festival tent, the party bands "alles roger?!" and "Hochwild" performed, and a premiere light show complemented the program. Free public transport on festival Saturday and Sunday.
