Overview

The Nürtinger Fasnet 2025 took place, as every year, during the "hot phase" of the Swabian-Alemannic Fastnacht — from Dirty Thursday to Shrove Tuesday. Despite rainy weather, numerous carnival enthusiasts and costumed attendees gathered in the squares and along the parade route. The Nürtinger jester guilds once again demonstrated the quality of their tradition.

Nürtinger Fasnet 2025 — Storm Despite Rain

In February/March 2025, the Nürtinger Fasnet unfolded as usual, starting with Dirty Thursday. Despite the rainy weather, many carnival enthusiasts and costumed revelers paraded through the city center. Various folk associations, dance groups, the Lenningo-Gugga band, a male ballet troupe, and other brass bands provided the festive atmosphere.

The highlight was the traditional Jesters' Court, where Mayor Dr. Johannes Fridrich had to respond to mock charges — a humorous tradition that has shaped the Fastnet in Nürtingen for years and is documented on the city's website via video.
