Overview

The NUEJAZZ Festival 2025 ran from October 17 to November 4 with its first full program following the award of the German Jazz Prize 2024. The festival presented internationally recognized artists from the contemporary Modern Jazz Crossover scene, with a focus on the Berlin and Central European jazz scene.

The 2025 edition was a special year for NUEJAZZ — the first festival after being awarded the German Jazz Prize 2024 as "Festival of the Year." The festival took place from October 17 to November 4, once again utilizing the Kulturwerkstatt auf AEG, the Z-Bau, the E-Werk, and other venues in Nuremberg.

The program followed the established crossover line, featuring Modern Jazz, electronic elements, and international acts from Berlin and Central Europe. NUEJAZZ for Kids with children's concerts, the NUECOMER Jazz Awards for emerging talent, and open jam sessions complemented the main program. In 2025, its status as one of Germany's most innovative jazz festivals was reaffirmed.
