Overview
The NRW State Gymnastics Festival takes place only every five years. The last edition before Hamm 2026 was therefore the 4th edition. The format with an opening evening, Gymnastics Gala, Festival Mile, and mass sports program has established itself over the decades as the state's most important grassroots sports festival.
The NRW State Gymnastics Festival follows a five-year cycle, making the editions rarer but each one more significant. Before the 5th edition in Hamm in 2026, the 4th edition shaped the format and expectations: the Gymnastics Gala, artistic gymnastics competitions, the Festival Mile as a public area, and mass events for clubs were already central elements at that time.
