The pub singing with the Frankenwaldverein was the emotional highlight.

Kerwa 2025 – Cult Kerwa as always

As every year, the Kerwamaala and Kerwabuum of Nordhalben celebrated five days through their village from October 2 to 6, 2025. Thursday began with the meeting at the parish church at 6 p.m. and the festival parade to the Dreschhallenplatz, where Mayor Michael Pöhnlein officially opened the Kerwa. Friday featured the typical Kerwarunde with the Kerwa float.

The Highlights

Saturday was dedicated to the first round of Kerwa serenades, followed by Kerwa football matches in the afternoon. Sunday saw the festive church service with a church procession at 9:45 a.m., followed by the Kerwa pub singing with the Frankenwaldverein in the Fliegerhalle – traditionally the most emotional moment of the festival. Monday, the second round of serenades marked the conclusion. Accompanying this were hut fun at the ski lodge, bar service in the pubs, showmen, and food stalls at the Dreschhallenplatz.
