Overview
The 15th edition of the Norderstedt Long-Distance Swim took place at the end of August 2025 in the Stadtparksee. As in previous years, several distance categories (500 m to 5 km), a junior category, and the relay competition were held. As the opening competition of the Norderstedt Sports Week, the event attracted swimmers from all over Northern Germany.
The 15th edition of the Norderstedt Long-Distance Swim in 2025 once again kicked off the Norderstedt Sports Week. In the Stadtparksee, junior athletes and open water veterans competed for daily victories and the first points in the overall 'Best Athlete' ranking across four distances and in the relay format. Several hundred participants from Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, and the northern German region were at the start.
