In 2025, the Norderstedt Dragon Boat Race did not take place — the event had been paused for five years. 2026 marks the comeback of the tradition at the Stadtparksee.
2025 Break
As in previous years, the Norderstedt Dragon Boat Race was also dormant in 2025 — the break lasted a total of five years. With the relaunch by the trio Gottschalk/Kreyenberg/Paust, the event is back on the calendar in 2026. Previous editions (e.g., 2018, 2019) also took place at the Stadtparksee.
