Edition 2025 — North Bavarian Forest Work Championships
The North Bavarian Forest Work Championship will be held as a standalone championship for the first time in 2026 in Schwarzenbach a.Wald — this is therefore the official premiere. There was no direct '2025 Edition'; instead, competitions at the Bavarian and national levels served as models for the new format.
The premiere of the North Bavarian Forest Work Championships is scheduled for 2026. There was no direct predecessor event in 2025 in Schwarzenbach a.Wald. The established Bavarian Forest Work Championships and the German Championship, in which foresters from all over Bavaria participate, served as models for the new format.
The town of Schwarzenbach a.Wald, together with the Holzforum, applied to host the first North Bavarian edition and was awarded the contract for 2026 — a testament to the strong forestry tradition of the Frankenwald.
