Overview

The Stabenfest 2025 in Nördlingen proceeded as in previous years: four days of festivities with a festival tent, amusement rides, and festival beer at the fairground, crowned by the schoolchildren's staff parade on Stabenmontag through the medieval old town. The festival has been intangible cultural heritage of Bavaria since 2020.

The Stabenfest 2025 in the Swabian Ries crater city of Nördlingen followed the established tradition: festival start on Friday, fairground operations throughout the weekend, and the highlight on Stabenmontag with the schoolchildren's staff parade through the historic old town.

As every year, the Mayor's office and city administration called for houses to be decorated with flags, and the specially brewed Stabenfest beer was served in the festival tents. Its inclusion as intangible cultural heritage of Bavaria in 2020 has increased the event's visibility far beyond the region.
