Overview
The 2025 Niederländertreffen, like every year, took place in early June in Pappenheim. Three days of historical festival with a procession to the castle, Mayenpredigt, and an open VANtastische Begegnung in Stadtvogteigasse.
In 2025, the town of Pappenheim once again brought its historical connection to Dutch history to life. Three days of festivities in the old town, with a parade to Pappenheim Castle on Sunday morning, the traditional Mayenpredigt at the castle, and the VANtastische Begegnung on Saturday in Stadtvogteigasse. Pappenheim and the Altmühltal Nature Park provide an atmospheric backdrop for this festival – the ascent to the castle alone is worth the journey.
