The 2025 Neustädter Adventsmarkt took place on December 6 and 7, 2025, in the medieval Fleischbänke and on the St. Johannis church square — Saturday from 2 PM to 8 PM, Sunday from 2 PM to 7 PM. Pottery, jewelry, honey products, mouth-blown glass items, mulled wine, and storytelling sessions characterized the atmosphere.
Neustädter Adventsmarkt 2025 — Review
In 2025, the Neustädter Adventsmarkt once again thrived on its unique backdrop: the medieval Fleischbänke in the West Market Passage. Craftsmen and traders presented classic Advent products — pottery, jewelry, mouth-blown glass, honey, cotton goods, and nativity figures. Storytelling sessions for children, visits from St. Nicholas, and Advent concerts in the St. Johannis town church complemented the program. A tradition unbroken since 1587 continued in 2025.
