Overview
The 33rd Neuruppin May and Harbour Festival took place in early May 2025 on the promenade of Lake Ruppin. Dragon boat races, live music, fireworks over the lake, and a free Sunday family day once again attracted thousands of visitors from Berlin and the region to the Fontane City.
The 2025 edition continued the established structure of the city festival: Kick-off on May 1st with the opening and evening fireworks, Saturday featured the traditional dragon boat races with heats in the morning and finals in the afternoon, and Sunday offered a family programme with the duck race and free admission. The May and Harbour Festival remains, after the Martinimarkt, the second most important city festival in Neuruppin and shapes the spring events on Lake Ruppin.
