Overview

The Neumarkter Weihnachtsmarkt 2025, like every year, ran for about four weeks at Rathausplatz and Münsterplatz. The town once again presented itself as a "Christmas City" with an Alpine hut atmosphere, an open fire pit, an arts and crafts market, and appearances by the Neumarkter Christkind — organized by "aktives Neumarkt e.V.".

The 2025 edition of the Neumarkter Weihnachtsmarkt continued the tradition of the "Christmas City" of Neumarkt. For four weeks, wooden stalls, a mulled wine fire pit, and arts and crafts stands characterized the cityscape of Rathausplatz and Münsterplatz.

As every year, the arts and crafts market from Thursday to Sunday, the atmospheric concerts, and the appearances of the Neumarkter Christkind were the program highlights. The Neumarkt town band, local choirs, and schools shaped the musical accompaniment. With its deliberately smaller, more personal format, the Neumarkt Christmas City once again distinguished itself from the large markets in Nuremberg and Regensburg.
