Overview

The 47th Neumarkter Frühlingsfest 2025 took place traditionally around Ascension Day: five days of Volksfest atmosphere in the Große Jurahalle, with a spring fair on the weekend, an animal show, and the 20th Donkey Race as the highlight on the final day. The beer tent program featured proven regional bands from the Upper Palatinate.

An Anniversary Edition of the Donkey Race

With the 20th Neumarkter Donkey Race, the 2025 Frühlingsfest marked an anniversary for the festival's most popular event. Regional club teams competed to win the challenge cup. As every year, the spectacle attracted thousands of spectators to the festival track.

Proven Concept Around the Jurahalle

In 2025, the Große Jurahalle and the beer garden by the fountain once again formed the center of the festival. The parallel spring fair presented regional exhibitors on the weekend, from gardening to household goods. Amusement rides and stalls on the festival grounds completed the offering.

As in previous years, the city of Neumarkt in the district of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate was the organizer.
