Overview
The 5th edition of Neukölln tanzt! took place in March 2025 at the Gemeinschaftshaus Gropiusstadt. Around 70 dancers from Neukölln schools, along with the guest company tanzfähig, presented joint choreographies on the theme of diversity and inclusion. Free admission.
The 5th edition confirmed the format that Kia Paasch and Friederike Jentsch have been building since 2019. Students with and without disabilities, several Neukölln schools, the Gemeinschaftshaus Gropiusstadt as a stage. The festival was documented; the film "Neukölln tanzt! In Vielfalt Mensch sein" (Being Human in Diversity) featuring 48 dancers aged 7 to 35, showcases the work behind the festival.
