Overview

The Neuhauser Zeltkirwa 2025 was celebrated, as every year, on the first weekend of October by the Kirwaverein Neuhaus an der Pegnitz. Three to four days of Franconian Kirchweih tradition with a festival tent, Kerwasburschen and Kerwasmadla, parade on Sunday, raising of the Kerwabaum, dance performance, and serving of the Kommunenbier — the unique brewing tradition from the 16th century. Brass bands, a party band, and a disco played in the festival tent. Free admission to the festival tent.

The 2025 Kirwa followed the centuries-old Franconian Kirchweih tradition. In the festival tent at the grounds of Neuhaus an der Pegnitz, brass bands played on Friday, party bands or discos on Saturday. Sunday — the main event day — began with the festive church service and led through the parade of the Kerwasburschen, the raising of the Kerwabaum, to the dance performance in the festival tent. The serving of the Kommunenbier — a unique brewing tradition from the 16th century — once again shaped the character of the festival. Families and Kirchweih enthusiasts from all over the Nürnberger Land and Franconian Switzerland visited the festival.
