Overview

The 27th Neuburg Castle Festival took place in 2025 over two weekends: Friday to Sunday, June 27–29, and Friday to Sunday, July 4–6, 2025. The old town of Neuburg transformed into a vibrant Renaissance world with a market, Steckenreitertanz, and a grand procession.

For the 27th edition, the Renaissance came alive in Neuburg an der Donau over two weekends (June 27–29 and July 4–6, 2025). Jugglers, merchants, and nobles animated the alleys, and a Renaissance market with over 150 stalls offered traditional crafts and regional specialties.

The highlight was the grand historical procession on Sunday, July 6, 2025, with around 2,400 participants, floats, carriages, horses, and animals. The Steckenreitertanz in the castle courtyard, hunting and jousting games on horseback, a children's program, and the fireworks over the Danube completed the festival.
