Overview

On August 15, 2025, the Nesselwang Riding Club celebrated the 47th edition of the Riders' Games. As every year, the day began at 10 a.m. with the parade from Nesselwang Primary School to Gschwend, followed by the field service with horse blessing at 11 a.m. and the show demonstrations starting at 12:30 p.m. Show quadrilles, Western and vaulting demonstrations, pony rides, and a creative market characterized this Allgäu horse festival.

The 2025 Riders' Games in Nesselwang confirmed their role as one of the central horse festivals in the Allgäu region. The parade, the field service with horse blessing at the Gschwend riding hall, and the subsequent show performances on the festival meadow attracted thousands of spectators on the Feast of the Assumption. The Nesselwang Riding Club e.V. presented a diverse program with show quadrilles, Western riders, Noriker horses, and an extensive children's program. Allgäu specialties and homemade cakes complemented the traditional festival, the proceeds of which benefited the club's activities.
