Overview

The 22nd edition of the Neiße Filmfestival in 2025 again showed several dozen feature and documentary films in Görlitz, Zittau, Zgorzelec, and Liberec. With film discussions, industry workshops, and media education programs for schools, the festival remained one of the most important European border region film festivals.

22nd Edition 2025

In spring 2025, the Neiße Filmfestival, in its 22nd edition, once again attracted filmmakers and cinephiles from three countries. Several dozen films — features, documentaries, shorts, and animations — were shown in cinemas across Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic, complemented by film discussions and workshops.

The Neisse-Fisch was awarded in several categories to international productions. As every year, school classes from all three countries took advantage of the media education program, and industry events attracted professionals.
