Großer historischer Narrensprung Oberndorf am Neckar

The 2025 edition of the Großer historischer Narrensprung took place on Shrove Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in Oberndorf am Neckar. As local press (nrwz.de) reported: "Wet and cold, but joyful," the Narrensprung paraded through the small town precisely at 8:30 AM on Tuesday morning. Over 2,000 costume wearers from the Narrenzunft Oberndorf — Hansel, Narro, Schantle, Polizeischantle, Bennerrössle, and the town band — formed the procession, which wound its way in several loops through the lower town, concluding around 11 AM at Schuhmarkt. The midday jump at 2:30 PM in the upper town rounded off the festive day. Despite rain and cold, hundreds of spectators lined the route — a testament to the deep roots of Fasnet in the Oberndorf community.
