The themed weekend "After the Harvest" 2025 at the LVR Open-Air Museum Kommern showcased post-harvest work on the Rhenish farm. The 2025 edition continued the museum's tradition: heavy horses in action, live steam technology, regional direct marketers at the country market.

Rhenish-Westphalian heavy horses, Belgian and Luxembourgish draft horses demonstrated plowing, hauling logs, and pulling harvest wagons. A steam-powered threshing machine operated at the historic farmstead. Hands-on stations for adults and children: threshing with a flail, cleaning grain, processing flax, making sauerkraut. In addition, demonstrations of blacksmithing, carpentry, basket weaving, and textile work. Large country market with regional products from farmers and direct marketers.
