Overview

The 32nd edition of the Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci 2025 once again brought two weeks of early music to the palaces and gardens of Sanssouci. Concerts in the Friedenskirche, Orangery Palace, Neues Palais, and at the Nikolaisaal, opera premieres in the Schlosstheater, and open-air concerts on the Alter Markt attracted thousands of classical music fans to Potsdam.

The 32nd Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci 2025 continued the tradition of enlivening Frederick the Great's World Heritage site with early music concerts. Over 70 events in 17 days, featuring stars of the international baroque and classical scene as soloists and ensembles. An opera premiere in the Schlosstheater Neues Palais and several open-air concerts were among the highlights. Venues included Sanssouci Palace, Orangery Palace, Friedenskirche, Neues Palais, Belvedere on Pfingstberg Hill, Nikolaisaal, and Marble Palace.
