Overview
As always, the 2025 Museumsfest took place on the first Sunday in September at Marienberg Fortress. With hands-on activities, a craft market, a medieval camp, and concerts, the family festival attracted numerous Würzburg residents and guests from the region to the fortress hill. Admission for children under 18 was free.

In 2025, the Museum für Franken once again transformed the fortress hill into a family cultural area on the first Sunday of September. With hands-on activities, a medieval craft market, and a packed concert program, the Museumsfest was a highlight of Würzburg's cultural calendar. The summery late summer weather ensured that the inner courtyards of Marienberg Fortress were well-attended.
