The Museum Festival with Heima(rk)t Kloster Veßra 2025 brought together regional exhibitors, craftspeople, and musicians on the historic monastery grounds. The proven concept of a market, live crafts, stage program, and family activities made the festival day a highlight in the southern Thuringian spring calendar.
Kloster Veßra 2025 — Heima(rk)t on the Monastery Grounds
In May 2025, the Hennebergisches Museum opened its monastery grounds for the annual museum festival. Around 50 regional exhibitors presented food products, crafts, and homemade specialties; the stage in the monastery courtyard offered folk and medieval music; blacksmiths and potters worked live. Families took the opportunity for the petting zoo and hands-on stations — a typical Henneberg spring day.
