Edition 2025 — Müntzer-Festspiele
2025 was a special year for Allstedt: 500 years since the Peasants' War, 500 years since Müntzer's execution. The Müntzer-Festspiele were launched in 2025 as the prelude to the festival week — a model for the expanded edition in 2026.
The Müntzer-Festspiele 2025 were held under the banner of the national Peasants' War anniversary (500 years). The town of Allstedt actively participated in the „Gerechtigkeyt 1525” program and organized the first major festival elements — a festive procession, market, and theatre. Based on this edition, the program was expanded in 2026 with additional dates.
