Edition 2025 — Mülheim God's Procession
The Mülheim God's Procession 2025 took place on Corpus Christi Day as usual on the Rhine in Cologne-Mülheim. The boat procession and the subsequent Marksmen's and Folk Festival on Wiener Platz gathered thousands of believers, marksmen, and folk festival visitors — proof that the 500-year-old tradition remains alive.
In 2025, the procession followed the established schedule: Eucharist in the Liebfrauenkirche, procession to the Rhine bank, boarding, and a boat procession upstream with an accompanying flotilla. In 2025 as well, numerous smaller boats participated, forming the characteristic scene on the Rhine together with the main ship.
The subsequent Marksmen's and Folk Festival on Wiener Platz ran for four days and offered a Corpus Christi funfair, a stage program, and the Marksmen's Festival of the St. Sebastianus Marksmen — a blend of religious tradition and Rhenish merriment.
