Overview

The 14th Mühlhäuser kleinKUNSTsommer took place from June 25 to July 6, 2025, in the courtyards of the Old Town. Cabaret, theatre, performance art, and music in the Syndikatshof, 3K-Theaterwerkstatt, and Rathaushof, combined with refreshments and Old Town atmosphere. Programme highlights included musical cabaret, acoustic folk-rock, stand-up comedy, and political rock music.

2025 Edition — 14th Edition

The 2025 edition, from June 25 to July 6, continued the tradition. Children's programmes in the morning at the Syndikatshof opened the festival (for local primary schools). Public evening programmes featured historical-contemporary theatre («Mai 25»), musical cabaret with satirical new songs, acoustic folk-rock with unusual instruments, stand-up comedy on socio-political issues, and political rock music. Mühlhausen's medieval courtyards once again provided the characteristic festival atmosphere that defines the kleinKUNSTsommer experience.
