Overview
The Mönchguter Heringsfest 2025 took place on May 3rd and 4th at Göhren's spa square. With smoked fish, a sea shanty choir, maritime demonstrations, and a family program, the event offered the traditional start to the summer season on Mönchgut.
The previous edition followed the proven two-day format: Saturday morning pint with the Prohner Hafengang sea shanty choir and maritime demonstrations, Sunday folklore performances and family program. Fish roll, smoked fish, and herring stands served visitors in conjunction with World Fish Roll Day. The organizer was the Göhren Baltic Sea Resort spa administration, and admission was free.
