Overview

The 14th Mössingen Apple Week 2025 took place from late September to early October with eight days of programming centered around traditional orchards and apples. School projects, an apple film, orchard hikes, an apple peeling championship, and the big apple festival on the closing Sunday characterized the week. Thousands of visitors from the Tübingen, Reutlingen, and Stuttgart districts participated in the events.

The 14th edition continued the tradition. In autumn weather, the Mössingen traditional orchards filled with hikers, the Mössingen cinema with apple film audiences, and the restaurants with guests trying the special apple menu.

The big Apple Festival on the closing Sunday in Mössingen's town center was once again the highlight: an exhibition of over 100 old and rare apple varieties, demonstrations of cider presses, freshly pressed apple juice, apple cake, apple punch, and a lively market with apple products from regional producers. Schools and kindergartens presented their apple projects.
