MittsommerRemise Spantekow Castle

The MittsommerRemise takes place annually at the beginning of summer, when around eighty historic manor houses, castles, and fortresses throughout Mecklenburg-Vorpommern open their doors. Spantekow Castle is among the participating venues and also organized its own program in 2025.

As in subsequent years, the focus was on the history of Northern Germany's oldest Renaissance fortress: tours of the fortress grounds, music, and activities for families made the architectural monument come alive. The castle café provided refreshments. This edition prepared for the MittsommerRemise 2026.
