Overview
The 2025 Midsummer Night in Hörnum on Sylt followed the traditional format: torch sales around 10 PM at Süderende, torchlight procession towards Odde with lighting at the lighthouse, bonfire on the beach well past midnight. One of Sylt's most beautiful night events, intimate and atmospheric, far from any mass tourism cliché.
2025 Edition
The 2025 Midsummer Night brought Sylt residents and summer guests to the southern tip of the island. As every year, organized by Insel Sylt Tourismus-Service GmbH and the Hörnum Volunteer Fire Brigade. Late buses took visitors back to Westerland after midnight.
Programme
Torch sales at 10 PM, torchlight procession towards Odde starting at 10:30 PM, bonfire on the beach at the southern tip.
