Medieval Market 2025 — Secunda Editio

After the successful premiere in 2023, the second edition in 2025 again took place at the Old Pumping Station at the Dragon Bridge — this time with an expanded program and significantly increased visitor numbers. The medieval hobby group Liberum Fantasy, with its volunteer participants, presented the authentic knight camp, coordinated combat display performances, bird of prey shows, and falconry. Musically, Reigenwildig and Kobolde again provided a medieval soundscape; highlights included the fire shows on Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as the historical carriage rides through Recklinghausen's old town. The success of the 2025 edition was the reason for the organizers' decision to extend the format to three days in 2026.
