Overview
The Medieval Festival Gars am Inn 2025 was marked by changeable weather with rain phases, which affected market activities and visitor numbers at certain hours. However, the artists managed to compensate for the mood dampening: the jugglers, acrobats, and music groups consistently provided entertainment, and the fire show by Avalon Feuerwelten was rated as the highlight of the weekend.
The knight's and encampments of Familia Canem Nigrum and friendly groups remained largely weatherproof and continued their program — blacksmith demonstrations, archery, demonstrations of medieval weapons, and craft demonstrations. The concept for 2026 builds on the experiences of 2025, with a largely identical format.
